Mound Industrial

The Umlor Group provided construction staking services for a multi-building industrial campus in Warren, Michigan. Mound Industrial is located within a historic manufacturing corridor that once housed automotive production and has since been redeveloped into a modern multi-building campus. The project involved significant demolition and relocation of existing utilities. The Umlor Group completed construction staking for a large home improvement company’s distribution center, which required installation of a railroad spur entering the building, along with additional exterior railcar storage. The railroad spur was required to tie into the existing railroad system with extremely tight tolerances and precision. Team Umlor rose to the challenge, supporting the project from demolition and mass grading through building foundations, rail spur construction, paving, and all site amenities.
