Scenic Pines

Scenic Pines is a residential development located in the City of Novi. It provided a unique opportunity for The Umlor Group to develop a property with significant natural features. The 9.45-acre site is located on the south side of Pembine Road near Walled Lake. The development was approved for 25 single-family detached homes under the Clustering Option of the Novi Zoning Ordinance. The Umlor Group provided survey, engineering, entitlement, and permitting services for the project. The project included the extension of approximately 1,700 linear feet of public 8-inch ductile iron water main, completing a loop between two existing stubs to improve system pressure and redundancy. The project also included extending approximately 1,100 linear feet of public 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer and construction of a sanitary lift station required for connection to the existing sewer system. Work on Scenic Pines has been completed, and The Umlor Group is currently assisting the developer with a new 192-unit townhome development in the City of Novi.
