Berkshire eSupply

The Umlor Group provided construction staking and design-build services for a large, multi-building commercial project. Berkshire eSupply, an industrial tool and milling supply company, developed a challenging site located at M-5 and 14 Mile Road in Novi, Michigan. The project presented significant on-site grading challenges, existing wetlands, and high-voltage overhead electrical lines. The Umlor Group worked closely with Oliver Hatcher to resolve complex design and grading issues, design underground duct bank routes for communication systems, and coordinate on-site wetland mitigation within the 57-acre parcel. Services were completed from tree clearing and mass grading to underground utilities, franchise utilities, paving, and building foundation layout. The Umlor Group also performed interior foundation layout and subgrade certifications during the tenant build-out. Berkshire eSupply is a strong example of The Umlor Group’s ability to collaborate effectively with outside engineering firms and contractors to successfully complete complex projects.
