Pinckney State Recreation Area

Pinckney State Recreation Area / Bruin Lake Campground underwent extensive campsite and roadway renovations. The park improvements included modernizing campground electrical systems, constructing ADA-accessible campsites, building a new campground restroom and shower facility, reconstructing park roads, installing a new sanitation station, and constructing a DNR garage workshop building and concessions building in the day-use area. The Umlor Group performed construction staking services and coordinated work with the Michigan DNR and on-site contractors to complete the project for the 2025 camping season.
